Anne Christine Wilson, MA

ON-CALL FACULTY

Anne Christine (AC) has partnered with SAIDI in a number of creative and learning engagements. These include organizing a National Good Governance Summit with government agencies, academes, religious institutions, and private sector; facilitating strategic planning sessions with the Roman Catholic Bishop of Novaliches (RCBN); and leading activities with the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) for an annual Global Summit for Filipinos in the Diaspora (European region). She gained her Master of Arts in Organization Development with a thesis on organizational capacity-building and Servant-Leadership, with which she utilized the process of Appreciative Inquiry (AI).

AC enjoys working in settings of social development and community-building. Her length and depth of service span from direction-setting, planning, and evaluation with faith-based, government and non-government organizations; coordinating advocacy efforts with a national coalition against child labor; setting-up a center for the care of women and children; mobilizing resources for the out-of-school youth (i.e. Youth Empowerment School and Youth-Bridge projects); trainings on Good Governance and Responsible Citizenry for Ugnayan ng Barangay at Simbahan (Solidarity of Barangays and Churches) with the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) and Voter’s Education with the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV).

With a hardworking team from her former employer, the Diocese of Novaliches, she led the writing of the Philippine’s pioneer parish-based policy for the care and protection of women and children as acknowledged by the Department of Justice (DOJ)- Committee on the Special Protection of Children and in 2011, her work with impoverished children in neighborhoods of stark economic differences was featured in a public service show broadcast Ako ang Simula (I am the Beginning) through ABS-CBN’s News and Current Affairs. On various occasions, she has been invited to speak on public affairs, governance, leadership and program management by faith-based groups, youth organizations, colleges and universities.

AC graduated magna cum laude from the University of the Philippines-Diliman with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work and ranked 4th in the National Social Work Board Exams in 2006. She also holds a certificate in Human Resource Management for Development Organizations (HRM-DO) from the Asian Institute of Management (AIM). With SAIDI, her latest creative endeavor was a research on Revisiting and Rethinking One’s Growth in Service: An Appreciative Inquiry on Lay Servant Leadership in the Diocese of Novaliches, Philippines.
