Markus is an inclusive business and renewable energy specialist with extensive experience in consulting on base of the pyramid (BoP) in the Philippines.
He founded ASEI Inc, a consulting, research and project development firm focused on renewable energy and inclusive business in 2009. Among its clients are development organization, such as ADB and GIZ corporations engaged at the BoP, for example BCI Asia, Hapinoy,Invisible Sisters, and Rags2Riches, and academic institutions, such as
Ateneo School of Government and SAIDI.
Markus has a B.Sc. in Business Studies from CASS Business School and a Master of Science in International Community Economic Development from Southern New Hampshire University (New Hampshire, USA). His academic experience was further enhanced by participating at INSEAD´s Social Entrepreneurship Program in 2010.
