Mario Ramon G. M. Guanzon, Ph.D., is the founder, president and CEO of M.M. Guanzon, Inc., and, together with his wife, the company’s CFO, has since then
established a total of eight integrated companies all under the MMGI Group.
Dr. Guanzon holds a College Degree in Advertising from Maryknoll College, then pursued further studies and in 2005, earned his Masters Degree from the Asian Institute
of Management’s (AIM) Master in Entrepreneurship program. Afterwards, in 2010 he completed his Post-Graduate Executive Management Degree from the Harvard Business
School’s Owner-President Management program, and most recently in 2014, attained his Doctoral Degree in Organization Development (OD) from the Southeast Asian
Interdisciplinary Development Institute’s Graduate School of OD. He attended other Executive Education courses such as Strategic Brand Management at the AIM, and Good
Governance and Risk Management at the Rural Bankers’ Association of the Philippines-BSP, to cite a few.
Dr. Guanzon has garnered many personal achievement awards, and has steered his companies, having been recognized by the Department of Science and Technology, for
one, as the Most Outstanding Adaptor Award for outstanding performance in Enterprise Leadership, Growth, Efficiency, Profitability, and Job Creation.
Dr. Guanzon’s main areas of interest and expertise lie in creating, building, and designing business models, family business leadership and succession management, organizational leadership, systems thinking, and strategy. |
