Msgr. Manny currently, among the numerous assignments he holds, is the Vicar Forane of the Vicariate of San Antonio de Padua, the Parish Priest of the Resurrection of Our Lord Parish (BF Homes, Paranaque City) and the Director/ Trustee Member of the Veritas Parochial School. Msgr. Manny has also consistently pursued the ideals and commitment of the Catholic Educational System and, recently, completed a Certificate with the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD, Nevada).
As an active member of the Church, Msgr. Manny is also involved as Director for the Institute for Pastoral Renewal and Studies (IPRES) of the Asian Social Institute (ASI), the National Convenor and Coordinator for the National Clergy Discernment and the World Christian Meditation-Philippines, and a Member of the National Mission Council and the Basic Ecclesial Communities Desk of the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (CBCP). These roles he pursue with the same zealousness as his teaching assignments on Christology, Spirituality, Pastoral Planning and Administration, Evangelization and Inculturation, and Modernization, Missiology, Pastoral Methods, with IPRES-ASI, Loyola School of Theology-Ateneo de Manila University, Divine Word University, and Miriam College.
Msgr. Manny completed his Licentiate in Theology (Magna Cum Laude) and Doctorate in Missiology (Summa Cum Laude) at the Gregorian University, Rome, Italy. He received his Master of Arts D in Organization Development and Planning from the Southeast Asia Interdisciplinary Development Institute (SAIDI). He also took up graduate studies in Theology (Loyola School of Theology) and Philosophy (San Jose Major Seminary) at the Ateneo de Manila University.
Msgr. Manny’s multi-disciplinary, academic background enables him to bridge theory and practice, theology and socio-behavioral disciplines, and the dynamic relationship between Christian faith and human life.
