Eliseo A. Aurellado, PhD is a Certified Public Accountant, management practitioner, and entrepreneur with more than 40 years’ experience in public accounting, controllership, general management, human resource management and development, and consultancy services.
He is one of the owners and key executives of a Triple A, ISO-certified construction company that grew from a capital base of P500, 000 at start-up to over P330 million in 12 years.
Ely started his career in public accounting in 1970 with SGV and Co. In 1975 he received his MBA degree at the University of California, Los Angeles on company scholarship; later, he worked with DeLoitte Haskins & Sells, CPAs in New York City. In 1976 he re-joined SGV and worked with a select team of managers to develop a new training program for auditors. In 1979 he joined the banking and finance sector, serving in various executive positions, one of which was being the Head of Human Resource Management at PCIBank, managing all the HR functions of recruitment, training, salary and benefits administration, job evaluation, policy formulation, Industrial relations and CBA negotiations. In 1999 he retired as President and CEO of PCIB Property Care, Inc., and First Vice President of PCIBank in a concurrent capacity. He resumed his practice of public accounting after his retirement and became partner and Audit Director of R.S. Bernaldo & Associates (CPAs) in 2003. He became President and later Vice Chairman of the Board of Metro Stonerich Corporation, a construction firm which is ISO 9001:2008 certified.
Ely completed his PhD degree in Organization Development at the Southeast Asia Interdisciplinary Development Institute (SAIDI) School of Organization Development in 2010. |
